Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of products and services made remotely via the website www.arcadiabags.com, operated by:

All purchases are subject to Italian law, including Legislative Decree 185/1999 (distance contracts) and Law 675/1996 (privacy), as amended.

Acceptance of Terms

By confirming an order electronically, the customer:

  • Accepts these Terms and Conditions of Sale unconditionally.
  • Undertakes to comply with them in all dealings with Arcadia SRL.
  • Confirms having read and accepted the information provided.

Arcadia SRL sells its products exclusively through arcadiabags.com to retail customers. Any different terms apply only if agreed in writing.

Customer Obligations

  • Customers must review these Terms before confirming any purchase.
  • Order confirmation implies full acceptance of these Terms.
  • Once the purchase is completed, customers must keep a copy of these Terms for their records, as required by Articles 3 and 4 of Legislative Decree 185/1999.

Purchasing Procedure

  • Arcadiabags.com allows customers to purchase Arcadia products online.
  • Products are described in detail, with prices inclusive of VAT.
  • Shipping costs are shown separately during checkout.
  • Once the transaction is completed, the customer receives a confirmation email with order number, date, and total amount.

The sales contract is finalized once Arcadia SRL receives and verifies the order form. Orders are stored for the time needed to process them, in compliance with the law. Customers may access their order history at any time via their Reserved Area.

If an item is unavailable after order confirmation, Arcadia SRL will notify the customer within 14 days and refund any amount already paid.

Shipping and Delivery

We ship worldwide using FEDEX, DHL, UPS, GLS, and Poste Italiane. Orders are processed within 24–48 hours. Shipping fees are shown below:

  • Delivery times are calculated from pickup and vary by destination (see shipping chart on our website).
  • Orders may be split into multiple shipments at no extra cost.
  • Couriers cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or freight forwarders.
  • A signature may be required upon delivery.

If a customer requests a change of delivery address after the package has already been shipped and is in transit, Arcadia cannot guarantee delivery to the new address. It is the recipient’s responsibility to contact the local carrier directly and obtain all necessary information and instructions to arrange re-delivery to the new address.
If the package is returned to Arcadia as a result of an address change or failed re-delivery, the customer will be charged the applicable return fees and customs costs according to the chart below.
If a package is uncollected or returned due to refusal, incorrect address, or unpaid duties/taxes, the customer will be charged return fees and customs costs (amounts vary by country, according to the chart below).

  • Australia: 250 AU$ or 150 €

Before signing for delivery, customers should check that the package is intact. If damaged, we recommend noting this on the delivery slip. Arcadia is no longer responsible once the package has been delivered.

All orders are subject to verification. High order values or incomplete/incorrect information may cause delays.

Please note that shipping times may vary and cannot be guaranteed. A signature may be required upon delivery of all Arcadia packages.

For U.S. customers: Arcadia delivers to all 50 states. Please allow extra time for orders placed around public holidays, including: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4th), Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve.

Import Duties and Taxes

  • DDP (Delivery Duty Paid): for the USA, Australia, Canada, and UAE. Shop with confidence, duties and tariffs are included in the final price. Please note that, for certain states, provinces, or regions, the carrier may still charge local taxes or administrative fees required by local authorities, which are outside of our control.
  • DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid): UK, Switzerland, Rest of the World — duties and taxes are not included. Customers are responsible for all import fees.

Duties and taxes are non-refundable outside the EU. Customers may contact their local customs office for possible recovery.

Payment Methods

Payments must be made at the time of order confirmation. Accepted methods:

  • PayPal (credit/debit cards or PayPal account)
  • Stripe (credit/debit cards)
  • Klarna

All transactions are encrypted with SSL technology to ensure secure data transmission.

Promotions

  • Complimentary Product Promotions: Maximum of one free item per order. Complimentary items cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

Returns, Refunds and Right of Withdrawal

Customers may withdraw from their purchase within 14 days from delivery without penalty and without giving a reason.

Products must be returned in their original packaging together with the purchase receipt. If the original box is irreparably damaged, the customer must use a replacement box of equivalent size and strength.

Before initiating a return, customers are required to contact [email protected] to obtain the necessary return documents. Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Returned products must have all original tags intact and attached. Products that are used, damaged, or missing tags will not be processed and will be returned to the sender.

Once the return is received and verified, Arcadia will confirm acceptance by email sent to the registered address. Refunds will then be issued as follows:

  • Credit card payments: refund timing depends on the card issuer.
  • PayPal payments: refunded directly to the same PayPal account used for purchase.

The right to return is reserved exclusively to the original purchaser and cannot, under any circumstances, be exercised by the recipient of a gift. Gift recipients may return products for exchange only, with shipping costs at their expense.

Conditions for Authorization

  • RMA requests must be submitted within 14 days (CET) of delivery.
  • USA / Canada / UAE / EU (excluding Switzerland):
  • • Free returns available on full-price products only.
  • • Free return applies to one product per order. From the second product onward, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
  • Free returns are available on exchanges (no refund; store credit only).
  • Rest of the World: No free returns. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
  • Sale items (20% off or more, worldwide): Not eligible for free return. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
  • The return box must match the size of the original box. Oversized boxes will not be accepted.
  • Initial shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Customized products are not eligible for refund or return.
  • Gift recipients may request an exchange only; refunds are available only to the original purchaser.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The product must be properly stowed in the original box or, in case it is irreparably damaged, in another one of equal size. It must be fully wrapped as received to avoid any damage during transit. Damaged products won’t be processed for refund or coupons (in case of exchange). Products returned without their original components—such as dust bags, shoulder straps, or other accessories—will be subject to a penalty fee of $25 for each missing item.

Arcadia reserves the right to inspect all returned products. Returns will only be processed if the product and packaging are received intact and complete in all parts.

The company must receive returned products within 30 days of delivery.

Arcadia Lovers Reward Program

Arcadia Lovers is the exclusive loyalty program dedicated to Arcadia customers. Membership is free of charge.

Benefits

As a member of the Arcadia Lovers Reward Program, you will enjoy special advantages when shopping on www.arcadiabags.com.

With every purchase you make on our online store, you will earn points (1 point for every $1 spent). The total number of accumulated points can be redeemed for coupons, as follows:

  • 200 points = $10 coupon
  • 400 points = $20 coupon
  • 1,000 points = $50 coupon
  • 2,000 points = $100 coupon

Additional details:

  • Points are awarded once your order has been shipped.
  • If an item is returned, the corresponding points will be deducted.
  • Points remain valid for 12 months from the date they were earned.
  • Once points are redeemed, you will receive a coupon code valid for 6 months.
  • Discount coupons cannot be combined with each other.

Upon joining and with your consent, you will also receive exclusive updates on new Arcadia collections, promotions, and offers. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

By enrolling in the Arcadia Lovers Reward Program, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Eligibility
    • Membership is open only to individuals of legal age with the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
    • Membership is personal and non-transferable.
  2. Points and Rewards
    • The rewards structure described above may be updated by Arcadia SRL. Any changes will be promptly communicated to members by email.
    • Points expire if unused for 12 months. Membership will be deactivated if there has been no purchase activity for three (3) consecutive years. At that time, your account will be closed, your data anonymized, and all benefits cancelled.
  3. Membership Withdrawal
    • Members may cancel their membership at any time, free of charge, by writing to [email protected]. Cancellation results in the loss of all accumulated points and benefits.
  4. Program Modifications
    • Arcadia SRL reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions, the program structure, or related services at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication on www.arcadiabags.com.
    • If a member does not accept the changes, they may cancel their membership as described above.
  5. Program Suspension or Termination
    • Arcadia SRL may suspend or terminate the program at any time, with notice published on the website. In such cases, members cannot raise claims, except for rights already accrued at that time.
  6. Improper Use
    • Any misuse of membership or use that damages the Arcadia brand (including transferring benefits to third parties) will result in immediate exclusion from the program, with forfeiture of all accumulated points and benefits.
  7. Privacy
    • By joining the program, you confirm that you have read and understood the Arcadia Privacy Policy.
  8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
    • These Terms are governed by Italian law.
    • Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Milan, Italy, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws.

Legal Guarantee

Products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity under Legislative Decree 24/2002.

  • The guarantee applies to defects not visible at the time of purchase, provided products are used properly.
  • Negligence or improper use voids the guarantee.
  • The guarantee applies only to the original purchaser (private customers).

Defects must be reported within 14 days of receipt. Arcadia reserves the right to verify defects before replacing products. Returns must include original packaging and documentation.

Packaging

Each product is delivered with its protective bag, inside a branded Arcadia box.

Governing Law

Purchases made on arcadiabags.com are governed by Italian law on online sales.
